Shewana leads Rise • Rest • Power Ministries, a prophetic and faith-centered movement designed to help women return to God’s rhythm of rest, renewal, and spiritual authority. Through Bible-centered teaching, retreats, prayer gatherings, and prophetic insight, Shewana ministers to women who desire deeper intimacy with God, emotional healing, and purpose alignment.

Shewana is the Founder and Executive Director of Outreach Empowerment Center (OEC), Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, women, and underserved communities through education, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and life-skills programs.
OEC exists to inspire individuals to rise beyond limitations, discover their purpose, and pursue opportunities that build stronger futures.
One of the core missions of OEC is to inspire women to own their own businesses and create pathways to financial independence through entrepreneurship training and empowerment workshops.

A character-building and responsibility training program for teen boys.

A compassionate, educational, and empowerment-based program for teen mothers, helping them build stable futures while supporting emotional wellness, parenting skills, and continuing education.
4. Technology Literacy for Travelers 70+ (New Program)
A unique initiative created by Shewana to help women age 70 and older feel confident with today’s travel technology.

MY JOURNEY
My story is one of resilience, reinvention, rest, and God-led purpose.
I am a woman who has lived many lives — caregiver, global traveler, minister, entrepreneur, visionary, servant leader, and advocate for women rediscovering their breath, their peace, and their power. My journey has taken me through seasons of deep responsibility, spiritual awakening, and extraordinary transformation. Through every chapter, God has taught me this truth:
Rest is not a pause — it is preparation.
For years, I carried the weight of caring for those I loved while also trying to evolve into the woman God called me to be. I navigated caregiving, grief, reinvention, business building, ministry, travel, and healing. I learned to lead with compassion, to rebuild after burnout, and to embrace the gifts God had placed inside me — even the ones I didn’t know were there.
Travel opened a new world of purpose. Ministry opened a deeper world of calling.
And rest opened a new world of clarity.
Today, everything I do — whether I am ministering, teaching, coaching, or guiding women around the world — is rooted in my life’s message:
Rise in Rest & Power.
My story continues to unfold as I follow God’s voice to help women breathe again, heal again, dream again, and rise again. I am proof that you can rebuild, reimagine, and return to yourself — with grace.
